Lone Star Baptist College Plans Exciting End-of-Year Activity

On Friday, May 8, 2026, Lone Star Baptist College (LSBC) will host a vibrant end-of-year activity for students, faculty, and staff. The day promises to be filled with celebration, recognition, and fellowship as the college community comes together to reflect on the year’s achievements and look forward to the future.

Award Ceremony and Celebration

The day will kick off at 8:30 AM in the college chapel, where awards will be handed out to students who have excelled in their studies and ministry efforts throughout the academic year. This ceremony serves as a significant opportunity to honor the hard work and dedication of LSBC students.

"We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our students," said a college representative. "This event is a wonderful reminder of the impact our students are making in their communities and beyond."

A Day of Adventure

After the awards ceremony, the college will load a bus and head to the Dallas World Aquarium for a morning of exploration and fun. Students will have the chance to experience the wonders of God’s creation as they observe a variety of marine life and learn about ecosystems from around the world.

Following the aquarium visit, students will enjoy a delicious lunch at Golden Corral, providing an excellent opportunity for fellowship and relationship-building among peers and faculty.

Importance of Community

The end-of-year activity is not just a celebration but also a vital part of the LSBC community's culture. It reinforces the college's mission to train soul-winning servants and fosters a sense of belonging among students. By creating lasting memories and encouraging camaraderie, LSBC continues to cultivate a spirit of unity and shared purpose.

Looking Ahead

As the academic year draws to a close, the LSBC community is reminded of the profound impact they have on each other and their ministries. The end-of-year celebration is an opportunity not just to look back but to also look forward to the upcoming year filled with new challenges and opportunities for growth.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend this exciting event and celebrate the accomplishments of the LSBC family. Together, they can embrace the future with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to their mission.
